Pastor Hill
A Synopsis Of Our Beliefs:
We Believe in one God, omnipotent, omniscient and omnipresent. The creator and sustainer of the universe, revealing Himself to us in His Word as Father, Son and Holy Ghost (Spirit).
We Believe The Holy Bible to be the inherent, infallible, living and abiding Word of God, revealing the character, will and mind of God. Disclosing His plans for the universe and man, the crown of His creation.
We Believe that through Jesus Christ we have righteousness, sanctification and redemption. We also have through Him, all of the temporal provisions for our physical life, including healing of the body and mind and all material needs.
We Believe In the sacraments of Water Baptism and Holy Communion.
We Believe In the indwelling power of the Holy Ghost (Spirit), enduing and empowering believers to speak with tongues and imparting divers gifts to the members of the body of Christ.
We Believe In the final judgment, with the resurrection of the righteous to eternal bliss and the wicked to eternal damnation.
Born to Norman D. and Shirley A. Hill, Pastor Hill was raised in Syracuse, N.Y. Pastor Hill is the oldest of three siblings, Teretha (Williams) and Kim Hill.
Upon graduating from high school, Pastor Hill was employed by Verizon for 17 years, retiring in May, 1996. After many years of devoted service to his pastor and church, Pastor Eugene G. Akins II at Payton Memorial Temple COGIC, TKHR opened its doors on June 6th, 1999.
Married for 32 years to Patrica Yvette, Pastor Brian and Patricia have 3 adult children; Krystal, Brian Jr., Jared, and three
grandchildren, Evan, Emaree and Eian.
Pastor Hill is blessed to be surrounded by his loving family and supported by a wonderful church family.
